Founded in 2007 by designer Nieves Ruiz Ramos, known as Snow, Bibico was built as a direct response to the throwaway culture that had come to define mainstream fashion: a slow fashion label producing just two collections a year, in natural fabrics, with full transparency about where and how every garment is made. The Bibico Story

Snow's route to founding Bibico ran through over a decade designing for major high street retailers — an experience that left her increasingly disillusioned with an industry that had moved from producing four collections a year to churning out new designs every week. The tipping point came during a family holiday in Menorca, where she and her husband Tim made the decision to do something different. The result was Bibico: a brand designed around the belief that ethical and sustainable fashion shouldn't require compromise on style, quality, or wearability. Production takes place in fair trade certified cooperatives, primarily in India and Nepal, with Snow maintaining close personal relationships with every supplier.

The Bibico Range

Our Bibico collection focuses on the womenswear the brand does best — easy-to-wear, beautifully considered pieces in natural fabrics that move effortlessly through everyday life. Knitwear includes the Margot Aran Jumper in linen and the Heather Knitted Vest in chartreuse — pieces with genuine character. Trousers span the Clara in navy check and rust check, the Lorren Barrel Leg in thin navy cord, and the Harper Wide Leg in dark sand thick cord — relaxed, well-cut styles that reflect the brand's sensibility.
